will my bid gixen bid against my current ebay bid

I am currently the highest bidder on an item .If I set up a snipe for a higher bid on the same item ,will Gixen go over my ebay bid ?

On eBay if you outbid yourself with the same id the price is not increased.

So unless someone else submits a bid that is higher than your current bid you will not pay more if you decide to place another.

So, in summary, Gixen will submit that bid in the last seconds of the auction but you should not worry that, as a result, you could pay more than you otherwise would have done.
