Unkonwn Error (3)

I lost auction 120154456644 today. It gave me the error Unkonwn Error (3). It was a auction in UK pounds not US dollars. It worked earlier in the day but this time it did not place a bid. I bid 16 pounds and it closed at 8 pounds.

Can anyone assist me with what might have gone wrong. I am a new user and had one today that said my bid was too low but I did win the auction and then this one.

I can't see anything in the auction that would explain this. Mario might need to take a closer look: email him at <support@gixen.com> with your userID and a description of the problem.

I looked at this, and I can't tell what went wrong. Instead of bid confirmation page, ebay returned the listing page. This happens sometimes, and, frankly, I have no idea why.
