Bid was never placed, thus I lose the auction

I set this up with gixen to bid at a max of $40.77 on this auction: #324094115704

My bid was never placed and I lost this auction, this has happened to me before. This loss cost me the coin, which sold at $31.00, a loss of more then the service costs me for over a year.

Not pleased, and want to know what can be done about it
