|
|
Dear Admin,
I?ve recently renewed my Gixen Mirror subscription again and noticed a recurring issue with the subscription length. Despite paying for a full year, the service consistently deducts 10 days from the expected duration. This has now happened twice.
The first purchase was on June 23, 2024, via PayPal for a 1-year subscription. Initially, the expiry date was correct, but when I checked again, it had been moved to June 13, 2025 ? exactly 10 days short. The same issue occurred with my most recent renewal for 2 years.
I?ve emailed support twice regarding this, but unfortunately, I haven?t received any response.
If I?m paying for a 365-day subscription, I expect to receive the full duration ? not 355 days. Could you please clarify why this happens and how it can be corrected? |

Can you clarify whether it's a non-recurring or a recurring subscription that you have been signing up for ? _________________ Mark |

If you haven't cancelled it then it should make the next payment before you need to schedule any snipes that would execute after your subscription runs out... Or do you think there's going to be a gap during which you lack the full service ? _________________ Mark |

Thanks for the reply. Just to clarify, I used a recurring PayPal subscription, but cancelled it afterwards. My account was only extended by 355 days instead of 365, which has happened more than once.
Ive reviewed the terms and conditions, and there?s no mention of any 10-day deduction when cancelling auto-renewal. Could you clarify why this happens? |

Ah yes, there is a discount for having a recurring subscription, so if you cancel it before the next payment you should always expect the term to be reduced because you're getting the service at a lower cost than those that do pay for a yearly subscription individually each year, when you are effectively only doing what they are in terms of the frequency of payments.
Specifically the cost difference is $11.95 as opposed to $9.99, so by cancelling you should only really expect to get (9.99/11.95)*365 days service which equals 305 days... a reduction of 60 days... so, if you're only seeing a 10 day reduction you're still winning on this deal. _________________ Mark |

The 10 day extension / reduction is based only on whether you have an active recurring subscription or not. You should still have 365 days if you cancel.
Please email me your username and if there is a problem I will fix this. |
