I just got an auction that finished with the status: \"Network Error\" and was wondering why this was so I can ensure it doesn't happen again.
My bid was set to $18.69 and it sold for $18.36
Any idea why my bid didn't go through? I am a mirror subscriber. |

What was the auction id ?
Did you get the same status on the Main and the Mirror tabs ?
If so that sounds like there may have been an issue with the Ebay servers. _________________ Mark |

| Auction ID was 187767889879 but I didn't check the mirror before removing the item from my snipe list |

OK, so it ended at Nov 29, 2025 at 7:30PM PST
The last accepted bid was at 29 Nov 2025 at 7:29:16pm PST
The price from then on was $18.36 and the bid increment in that price range is $0.50:
https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/bidding/automatic-bidding?id=4014
So, any bid below $18.86 was going to be rejected by Ebay anyway.
The main server may have had an issue getting the bid through to Ebay.
Without a status for the Mirror server, we can't know whether it had the same issue... but even if it did manage to try to place the bid, as I say, it would have been rejected as too low, and you'd have got a 'BID UNDER ASKING PRICE' status. _________________ Mark |
