Password Issue

I had an old account, updated it by inputting my old username and new password. I incorrectly added a symbol in the password and it seems like the system accepted the registration. When I tried logging in, I received the following response \"Password is not a match. Could not log you in (128, )\"
I then tried registering using a new user name and created a password without any symbols and that one wasn't recognized by the system.
I sent an email to support at gixen.com on Saturday and again on Sunday and I'm hoping someone answers today on Monday.
